JUNIOR TRAINING CAMP 2011 - Day 1

Once again, the 2nd time of the year, another training camp!
Hereby, presenting
--junior training camp 2011--
from 7.00 a.m. on 28th August 2011 till 3.00 p.m. on 30th August 2011.
If I was given a choice, I would actually rename it as "Junior Test Camp 2011". Why? Simple, because everything in the camp is literally lencana usaha, maju and jaya tests all the time. However, tradition is tradition and should be followed. Moreover, training sounds better!
Above is Prob. T/L Ooi Yeong Sheng giving P/Ls a word or two. He's kinda busy throughout the camp. Not just the organizing programmer, but also the group badge secretary, he has to monitor the event almost 24/7 to make sure that the junior's progress in lencana usaha, maju and jaya tests are in acceptable level.
Prob. S P/S Wilson Saw, chef (Q/M food) for the camp passing by.

Our participants, unpromising attendance though.
It was 7.15 a.m. when the opening ceremony started, kinda late though, sorry for the delay guys. First, we have our chairman!
Oh wait, master of ceremonies first.
At our left, Mas. Tan Chin Hong with Prob. S P/S Chew Ming Chan, master of ceremonies for Junior Training Camp 2011.
Okay, now it is time for CHAIRMAN! The first guy to give a speech for the day, also the head for the event.

Then we have one of our teacher advisors, giving a speech besides declaring the start of Junior Training Camp 2011. Thanks for attending sir!
Mr. Faizul bin Azli
We proceeded with O/Cs introducing themselves.
At right, chairman. Beside chairman is Prob. T/L Walliam Peh, our group quartermaster which seems to be in a high mood that day.
Prob. S P/L Chan Wei Yang in the security hut, managing the checking-in procedure. Mobile phones were conficasted for safety purposes.
Meanwhile, first aid check was carried out.
Mas. Tan Chin Hong, the "doctor" of senior troop checking one of the P/Ss first aid kit with Mas. Teh Gia Sheng looking on.
After checking in, it's time for the first competition of the camp, modern cooking competition. Perhaps only for the form 2s, as for the form 1s, it was station training and test just right after it. The stations include:
  1. Ketupat
  2. Ponco (some sort of shelter thing)
  3. Menaikkan Bendera
  4. Balutan Anduh

Yeap, sadly, it was raining that time.

Due to the heavy rain, our programme got delayed and affected, dinner was ready at about 7.30 p.m., then participants get to retest for whatever tests they failed for the day. Lights-out at 10.00p.m.
