Group Camp 2011 Day 3

Rise and shine, and it was time for morning exercise after the getting up at 7am, although it is a little behind schedule. 
Morning Exercise

After morning exercise, it was time for layout and morning inspection.

While all the inspection action was going on, let's have a look at our backstage-ers, Q/M Food preparing breakfast and some O/Cs striking the mighty gateway.

After breakfast and morning inspection, it was time for pioneering project. The form 1s were assigned to a single tower whereas the form 2s were assigned to a hourglass. Trainers gave pointers and helped out a little during the building process. More aid was given to form 1 due to the lack of experience.

Form 2:




After finishing the pionerring projects, participants were instructed to strike their towers and have their lunch. It was marching training after that. At about 6pm, participants were instructed to clear their campsites and make sure it was spotless. Then, it was time for the closing ceremony.

Well, so long for organizing camps for senior troops. Too bad, but well, time flies, we are all prepared to move on.

Group Camp 2011 Day 2

We kick off for the day with morning exercise. After that, participants prepared their layout and gadgets for the morning inspection.

When the clock hit half past seven, inspection started. Of course, once again, featuring our inspector panel.

After the morning inspection, participants prepared for their backwoodsman cooking competition.












Preparing the firewood, setting up the fire, preparing the food, cooking the food, all these processes are not possible to be excepted from backwoodsman cooking. Of course, another one, INSPECTION.

Participants was given some time after the backwoodsman cooking competition and get some rest and clear up the fire place, in order words, mess. 

After clearing up, it was time for iron scout! There were 4 stations.
  1. Woodcraft sign
  2. Knots
  3. Monkey / Deadman's Crawl
  4. Physical Test

Then, after dinner, it was time for campfire!
