Rules and Regulations
1. The sketch/drama must not contain any vulgar language, sensitive topics e.g. politics, sexism and religions.
2. The plot of the sketch is encouraged to follow the theme of the gathering “Doomsday Revelation: the Mayan Prophecy”
3. The costume for the sketch must be suitable and participants must not be scantily dressed.
4. The sketch must be recorded onto CDs, with another backup copy saved in a pen drive which should be brought along to the gathering.
5. CDs should be handed in two weeks before the gathering.
6. Violation of the rules will result in deduction of competition marks.
7. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend the rules and the decision of judges is final.

TRADITIONAL DANCE COMPETITION
Registration Time : 8.00 a.m.
Registration Venue : Competition Counter
Registration Fee : RM10 (deposit: RM5)
Competition/Presentation Venue : Hall
No.of Participants : 6-12
Rules and Regulation:
1. The number of participant in a group must be between 6-12 people.
2. Participants should not be scantily dressed and costumes must be appropriate for the dance.
3. The length of the dance should be 3-6 minutes.
4. It is NOT necessary for the performance to be based on the theme although it is encouraged.
5. The CD containing the music for the dance must be handed in two weeks before the gathering.
6. Participants are allowed to claim back their CD after the competition.
7. All items and accessories required should be prepared beforehand.
8. Teams that fail to fulfill these requirements will be disqualified.
9. The judges’ decisions are FINAL and complaints will not be entertained.
10. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend the rules.

Rules and Regulation:

SINGING COMPETITION

Maximum Participants : 3
Rule and Regulations
1. Each school can send a maximum of a trio (1 group) to compete in the competition.
2. The participants’ attire must not be too exposed.
3. Time given for the performance is 4-7 minutes.
4. The performance is NOT required to be based on the theme.
5. Only English and Mandarin songs are allowed.
6. Participants should seek approval from the Organizing Committee to use other languages or dialects.
7. The CD containing the music for the competition must be handed in two weeks before the gathering, with another backup copy saved in a pen drive which should be brought along to the gathering.
8. Participants are allowed to claim back their CD after the competition.
9. Musical instruments are allowed to be used during the performance with the permission of the Organizing Committee.
10. The judges’ decisions are FINAL and complaints will not be entertained.
11. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend the rules.

BANNER COMPETITION

Maximum Participants : 2
Rules and Regulations:
1. The banner must be based on the theme ‘Doomsday Revelation: The Mayan Prophecy’.
2. The banner must be drawn BEFORE the event.
3. Presenters must be in full uniform.
4. Time given for the presentation is 5-6 minutes. Marks will be deducted if the time limit is exceeded.
5. The presentation must be in either English or Mandarin.
6. Anything related to political or religious issues is prohibited in the banner design or presentation.
7. The size of the banner should be 2m x 1m.
8. Only ‘Pelaka’ mural paints, Poster Color, Water Color or Paint are allowed.
9. Participants should seek approval from the Organizing Committee to use other mediums or materials for their banner.
10. Participants must have a banner stand for the presentation.
11. The judges’ decisions are FINAL and complaints will not be entertained.
12. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend the rules.

Rules and Regulation:
1. The souvenir must be based on the theme ‘Doomsday Revelation: The Mayan Prophecy’.
2. Presenters must be in full uniform.
3. Time given for each presentation is 5-6 minutes. Marks will be deducted if the time limit is exceeded.
4. The presentation must be in either English or Mandarin.
5. Anything related to political or religious issues is prohibited in the souvenir design or presentation.
6. Participants are encouraged to use recyclable or D.I.Y. materials.
7. The minimum variety of materials used is 4 types.
8. Teams that do not fulfill these requirements will be disqualified.
9. The judges’ decisions are FINAL and complaints will not be entertained.

MASQUERADE COSTUME DESIGN COMPETITION
Registration Time : 8.00 a.m.
Registration Venue : Competition Counter
Registration Fee : RM10 (deposit: RM5)
Competition/Presentation Venue : Hall
Maximum Participants : 3
Rules and Regulations
1. The costume must be based on the theme ‘Doomsday Revelation: The Mayan Prophecy’.
2. Presenters must be wearing full uniform, with the exception of those who are wearing the costumes.
3. Time given for the presentation is 5-6 minutes. Marks will be deducted if the time limit is exceeded.
4. The presentation must be in either English or Mandarin.
5. Anything related to political or religious issues should NOT be included in the costume design or presentation.
6. Schools have the choice to send a maximum of 3 members to participate in the presentation, with one member REQUIRED to present the costume.
7. The background music must be prepared by the participants beforehand.
8. Participants are allowed to finish their costumes before the competition.
9. The costumes must not be too exposed.
10. Batteries are allowed to be used lighting and/or other special effects for the costumes.
11. Questions will be asked by the judges; the presenters must answer ALL questions asked.
12. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend the rules and the decision of judges is FINAL.
