Group Camp 2010 DAY 1

This is the last camp organized by 2010/2011 Senior Troop - The Group Camp 2010 .

The camp was held on 29th of November till 1st of December .

Participants gathered in front of the Form 6 block around 7 am for the opening ceremony and also check-in .

After the opening ceremony , participants checked in and prepare for their modern cooking competition .

Checking-in

3 hours were given to participants to cook their food for Modern Cooking competition . Around 12.00 pm , inspectors went around to inspect their foods .

After the Modern Cooking competition , participants were told to clear their cooking place and also the campsite . QM Food also cooked some food for the participants .

At around 1 pm , participants went for JOURNEY .

Form One went to Strawberry Hill while form two climb to Air Itam Dam .

They spent around 3 hours to walk back to Chung Ling . The rain delayed our programme =( .

After dinner , participants called to fall-in and were told what to do next . They were divided into groups according to their hutment . They needed to go all around the school to pass through stations and get a clue from each stationer and find the buried treasure .

There were six stations which mostly are scouting skills

1. Personal Tent
2. International Phonetic Alphabet
3. Physical Training
4. Knots
5. Ketupat
6. DRABC

At the end of the NIGHT HUNT , the participants failed to find the treasure . They were call to fall in and chairman tell participants what to bring for the next day , then participants checked out at the security hut and went home .
