Rule and Regulations

1. Each school can have a maximum of 3 people in a group to compete in the competition.

2. The participants’ attire must not be too revealing.

3. Time given for the performance is 4-7 minutes. Marks will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.

4. The performance is NOT required to be based on the theme.

5. Only English and Mandarin songs are allowed.

6. Participants should seek consent from the Organizing Committee to use other languages or dialects.

7. The CD containing the music to be used must be handed in to the reception during registration.

8. Participants are allowed to claim back their CD after the competition.

9. Musical instruments are allowed to be used during the performance with the permission of the Organizing Committee.

10. Participants are encouraged to sing original songs.

11. The judges’ decisions are FINAL and complaints will not be entertained.

12. All changes and amendments are subject to the Organizing Committee.
